PEDDERS SPRINGS INTO ACTION AT SUPERCHEAP AUTO BATHURST 1000

Steering and suspension specialist Pedders has become the “Official Suspension Sponsor” of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and Sydney Telstra 500.

The Australian owned-and-operated company has ramped up its involvement and on-track presence at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, namely by lending its name to Mount Panorama’s famous Pedders Mountain Straight and the “Pedders Pit Paddock”.

V8 Supercar fans will also be in the running for the “Win the XXXX Gold Pedders Course Car” competition. The XXXX Gold Pedders Course Car competition ends on October 31.

“Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 is a world renowned endurance event. It’s because of this and its synergy to Pedders’ own range of steering and suspension products that makes us very proud to be the Official Steering and Suspension Sponsor of this iconic Australian event,” said Pedders’ Scott Pedder.

“Mount Panorama’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 forms a major part of Pedders official sponsorship of the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship Series and we are very much looking forward to seeing these great V8 Supercars tackle ‘Pedders Mountain Straight’ for the very first time. We also hope that the fans trackside enjoy the behind the scenes spectacle in ‘Pedders Pit Paddock’, and hope that we don’t see too many “XXXX Gold Pedders Safety Car” periods throughout the race.”

Pedders’ increased involvement with the V8 Supercar Championship Series extends to the Sydney Telstra 500 on December 4-6.
The steering and suspension specialist, who is in its first year of partnership with V8 Supercars Australia, will also have a strong presence in the Sydney sky, with the Pedders Blimp looking over the Sydney Olympic Park circuit during the Sydney Telstra 500.

Pedders also have naming rights for the Pedders Pit Exit for the December 4-6 event.
