Pedders backs Taylor Gill’s bid for Junior WRC title

Pedders Suspension & Brakes are backing rising Australian rally star Taylor Gill as the 21-year-old ramps up his campaign to clinch the 2025 Junior World Rally Championship crown.

Gill is on the brink of being the first Australian to win a World Rally Championship (WRC) title, as he leads the Junior WRC standings by 14 points heading into the season finale having taken two round wins in Sweden and Portugal, and two second places at the Acropolis Rally in Greece and Rally Finland.

The final round of the Junior WRC, the Central European Rally, will take place from 16-19 October and will feature tarmac on all of its 18 stages. To give himself the best possible preparation for the season decider, Gill, with the support of Pedders will contest Rally Croatia, another all-tarmac event and a round of the European Rally Championship from October 3 – 5.

For Rally Croatia, Gill’s Ford Fiesta Rally3 will carry Pedders branding, writing the next chapter in Pedders long and distinguished history of supporting Australian motorsport over the past 50 years.

"It's a privilege to represent Pedders at the upcoming Croatia Rally,” said Gill.

Competing in Croatia will boost our tarmac rallying experience and ensure we are fully prepared ahead of the final round of our Junior World Rally Championship campaign, the Central European Rally. Pedders have been a big supporter of rallying in Australia for 50 years and as an Aussie competing in the Junior World Rally Championship, it is super cool to have them on the car with me in Croatia" he added.

Pedders Chairman and 2014 Australian Rally Champion Scott Pedder was excited to support Gill, saying “2025 marks Pedders 75th anniversary and 50 years of Pedders supporting and competing in Australian Rallying.”

Over those five decades, we’ve helped support many Australian drivers help further their international careers and aspirations including Ed Ordynski, Simon Evans and Harry Bates, and we’re honoured to now add Taylor Gill to that list.

Pedder added “Taylor is a talented, determined young man who’s on the verge of achieving something no Australian has done before—a World Rally Championship title. Supporting him is part of Pedders’ DNA, and we’re proud to assist him in this crucial lead-up to the Junior WRC decider.”
