Pedders National Conference Awards Night 2024

In May 2024 we celebrated Pedders people and their accomplishments at our annual Pedders Conference Awards night held in Perth, WA.

This year’s Conference was held in Perth, WA and was another successful event where our franchisees, store staff and head office employees had the opportunity to connect and celebrate our values of family, working in partnership, providing expert advice, and being the very best we can be.

Our focus for this year's conference was three important pillars which our business believes are an integral part of running a successful Pedders store - Check, Align, Deliver.

The Pedders National Conference has been a largely anticipated event for all of our staff since the 1980s and gives our people the opportunity to meet familiar faces, while also forming new relationships with like-minded team members who all share a common goal.

A highlight of our National Conference is our Awards Dinner where we celebrate the achievements across our stores and head office staff members. This years Awards dinner was hosted at Fraser’s Restaurant and MC’d by Mick Colliss who is an author, writer, rugby commentator, and the former vice-captain of Australia’s first-ever National Sudoku team.

To celebrate another year of success across Pedders, we announced 29 award winners and 2 Hall of Fame inductees.

Craig Weber, South Australia and Northern Territory, Bill Orders Top State award

State Sales & Operations Manager Craig Weber took home the Bill Orders Top State Award. South Australia and the Northern Territory have seen the most amount of growth year on year compared to all other states & territories. Craig’s impact on the regions has been substantial for the business, and we look forward to future growth.

Lex and Jenna Gelmi, Roy Pedder Award

Lex and Jenna Gelmi are the Mandurah, WA Franchise Owners and recently opened their second store in Rockingham. The Passion and enthusiasm Lex and Jenna show for Pedders has been inspiring, and their dedication to the business has seen them win the Roy Pedder Award for 2024.

Bevan Phillips, Cannington, WA. Top Store Award

Cannington store owner Bevan Phillips was handed the Top Store Award alongside his parents who originally opened the store which at the time was one of the very first Pedders stores to open in Western Australia.


Dominic Trim, Pedders Joondalup and Osborne Park Franchise Owner being inducted into the Pedders Hall Of Fame

Dominic Trim has been part of the Pedders family for over 20 years, starting out as a technician. He then managed stores across WA, later transitioning into state manager. Dom then saw an opportunity to become a Pedders store owner and took on the Joondalup franchise in WA, before later also taking on the Osborne Park store. Dom has built a strong and loyal customer base, and his commitment to Pedders makes him a deserving inductee into the Pedders Hall of Fame.
